CARBTROL Corporation is pleased to offer a low cost carbon "take-back" program for non-hazardous petroleum UST spent carbons. Carbon accepted for the program is processed at a fully licensed reactivation facility and is recycled into adsorption applications utilizing reactivated carbon product.
The "take-back" procedure is simple and provides you with proper documentation of the reactivation of your carbon:
- First, fill out a Spent Carbon I.D. sheet, (pdf format)(excel format) and return it to CARBTROL.
- We will review your information and upon approval will provide you with a Return Shipment Authorization and Identification labeling.
- You will then be authorized to ship the spent carbon to our nearest carbon colletion facility.
- Following reacivation of your spent carbon, a Certificate of Reactivation will be sent to you, documenting this process.
Carbon not suitable for the "take-back" program can be handled using CARBTROL's custom reactivation services.
